Founded in 1986, The Big Joe Turner Musician’s Fund was established by concerned members of the Los Angeles Blues community. One of the organization’s goals is to create an ongoing source of funds readily available to assist Blues musicians in great need at the time that need arises. The Big Joe Turner Musician’s Fund uses its benefit events and projects to make people aware of the Blues. Betty Miller is the Executive Director of the organization.
