The Nachel’ Blues Network has been promoting the Blues since 1984. Initially founded by musicians(Chase Jackson, Ernie Williams, Jackie Merritt) to increase local Blues Awareness, the society presented the Elizabeth River Blues Festival for nine years. The Natchel Blues Network coproduces the Town Point Jazz and Blues Festival with Festevents in Virginia. The group also is actively involved with the community through Blues in the Schools programs, workshops and concerts.
