Veteran music journalist B.J. Huchtemann has been covering the blues in the Omaha-Lincoln area for over 20 years. She is a senior contributing writer for The Reader, and her blues coverage has been a feature of the weekly since 1996. Her column, Hoodoo, has appeared regularly for nearly 14 years. In addition to her columns and reviews for The Reader, Huchtemann has written for Blues Access, HearNebraska.org, and Musichound Guide to the Blues.
