Bob Putignano has been host of WFDUs (Fairleigh Dickenson University Radio) popular Across The Tracks program since 2000. The show features a variety of recorded Blues music, as well as live performances and interviews with musicians and industry-related talent. Broadcasting from Teaneck, New Jersey, WFDU transmits New York and New Jersey and is simulcast on the Internet. Putignano also originated WFDUs Blues Blowout, a six-hour block of Blues music, in-studio performances, and on-air interviews presented each Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight. Putignano is also president of the New York Blues & Jazz Society.
