CBS Early Morning News – Hosted by Russ Mitchell and Gretchen Carlson, this Saturday morning program of news and features made its debut as the CBS News Saturday Morning in September 1997. Blues artists get limited attention in mainstream media, but CBS Early Morning Show regularly features Blues artists young and old. The show exists as one of the few commercial news programs, and virtually alone among the major networks, that offers exposure for Blues artists.
