As the former Executive Director of The Blues Foundation. David Less is no stranger in Blues circles. Less is held in high regard because of the fact that success seems to follow him. He is currently President of Gibson Entertainment, a division of Gibson Musical Instruments. The ‘Chairman/President’s’ KBA recipient was chosen by The Blues Foundation Board of Directors Chairman and President. Less was selected in appreciation for his years of work in preserving and promoting the Blues. David’s sphere of experience includes music education, music journalism, festival production, special events management, consulting and Blues history. Less is best remembered for reviving an underfunded Blues Foundation. At Gibson Entertainment, Less will continue to champion America’s music culture with a focus on Blues, Jazz and Bluegrass.
