New York-based photographer Joe Rosen does very well for himself as a commercial photographer shooting ads for American Express and Chase Bank. But his passion lies in photographing the Blues and Jazz musicians whose artistry he admires. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, Rosen has photographed more than 400 musicians in his 18 year career. Many of the pictures have made their way into numerous music magazines, museums, and private collections.
