John Hahn has known Shemekia Copeland since she was eight years of age and has carefully managed her outstanding career from the start. John’s professional career in the Blues dates back to the late 1980’s as producer of Johnny “Clyde” Copeland’s Flyin’ High record. In addition to John’s intelligent guiding of her career, John was a co-producer of Shemekia’s first two CD’s, including her Grammy nominated Alligator CD Wicked in 2000. In addition to being a manager, John is a well-known songwriter and producer. He is currently co-producer of Bluzapalooza, bringing live Blues music to the troops in Kuwait and Iraq
