Founded in 1995 by Rich Sherman, Omega Events currently produces five music festivals and various concerts on the West Coast throughout the year. Omega’s signature event is the Doheny Blues Festival, celebrating its 12th anniversary in 2009. Located at the Dana Point beach in Southern California, Doheny Blues has succeeded by creating a fan-friendly environment and presenting an eclectic mix of music…Blues, soul, rock and R&B. Past artists include B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, John Fogerty, John Lee Hooker, Robert Randolph and Etta James. Omega has also helped to “introduce” many of Europe’s finest artists to the states, including James Hunter (England), B.B. & The Blues Shacks (Germany), and Knockout Greg (Sweden).
